Peony Wreath
So to get started I bought a grapevine wreath from Walmart for around $5 but should have waited till I went to the craft store for a way nicer one for probably the same price, but I'm impatient. I then purchased all of the flowers from Michaels during their spring sale for 50% off (look around for sales!!!!), and the hello sign from Hobby Lobby for less than $5 (also on sale!).
The flowers obviously come on stems so what I do is just pull the flowers off. They are made now to just pull off so it won't hurt the flowers. I also take off the leaves to incorporate some greenery into the wreath. You can see in the photos above the grapevine wreath base, white Tulips pulled from their stem and the Peonies pulled also. I just use a hot glue gun for all my wreaths so that is the safest, most sure way to go about attaching everything.
The "hello" sign came in a tan color so I bought Krylon spray paint in Brushed Metallic Champagne. This took me a few days to gather supplies and spray paint the sign but assembling alone literally took a few hours and it is so much fun to make a beautiful addition to your front door. Now I will show you the finished product!
Thank you for taking the time to read my post and learn how I made this wreath for about $30! If you have any questions please send me a message, I love hearing from you guys!
XoXo,
Cheyenne.
